The Problem
Ameda is a medical company with a full portfolio of clinically-based breast feeding solutions that are trusted by clinicians and lactation experts.
The company sought to bolster its digital presence and appeal to its large user base by building a mobile application to supplement Ameda’s physical products and further improve the parenting experience.
The Solution
I led the designs from the ground up, conducting market research, competitive analysis, and user research to develop effective solutions and deliver a better user experience.
The outcome was a modern, user-friendly platform that is visually appealing, highly functional, and intuitive to use. While designing with users at the forefront of every decision, we created a product that has over 50,000 daily users.
BRINGING Ameda TO LIFE
Having a newborn is truly a transformative experience, filled with immeasurable joy, but also countless challenges. My biggest goal with this mobile application was to design a platform that would serve as an extension of the baby's support system, providing users with the resources they need to navigate the challenges of early parenthood.
Ameda is truly a holistic platform aimed at easing the stresses that inevitably come with raising a newborn. Through many comprehensive features, the app provides users with the support they need to make informed decisions, track milestones, and monitor their baby's health.
Accessibility
I aimed to make essential information easily accessible and transparent. To achieve this, I incorporated data visualizations to help parse through all of the data and visually summarize the most important numbers. Visualizing data in this way allows users to quickly understand their baby's progress and development without feeling overwhelmed or uncertain.
